Grate Cooler

（1）Modular Design

Our grate cooler is composed of innovative and compact modules,which can be meet the needs of different sizes cement plants. The optimized modular combination reduces design and installation time and is easy to maintain. On the basis of modularization, different models of grate cooler can be further integrated in the factory to form large-scale modules, which greatly reduces the installation time and cost of the owner.

For the characteristics of accumulation and slip of high temperature and high viscosity materials, special inlet is designed,which can reduce the residence time and stacking of the material in the fixed slope section in order to improve the "snowman" phenomen in the entrance. It can make the clinker evenly distributed on the whole grate bed, which improves the heat exchange efficiency of the inlet fixed module.

（3）The fixed slope grate is cast with special heat-resistant steel, which is heat-resistant, wear-resistant, impact-resistant and has a long service life. The movable grate plate adopts stamping and welding structure, which has high manufacturing precision and low air discharge resistance. Different steel materials are used for different areas of the grate bed to reduce the manufacturing cost.

（4）Unique design of the seals structure

The sealing part is made of integral precision casting ,and the fitting surface is finished.It has good stiffness,the wear resistance, multi-directional independent connection, reliable positioning, convenient in replacement.

（5）Supporting mechanism for roller

The new type of the rollers is reliable and simple, and the two ends of rollers have the double positioning of the limit, which can effectively prevent deviation and the operation resistance of the grate bed is small. The surface quenching treatment for the rollers and guide rails can effectively reduce wear and improve service life. The unique lubrication design of the rollers can carry out 100% linear movement, breaking through the shortcomings of the previous dry oil lubrication system of the same type coolers, which is complex and has a high failure rate.

（6）Hydraulic transmission system

Load-sensitive technology is adopted for the hydraulic transmission system to save energy and reduce consumption; PLC control system of hydraulic station is accurate and reliable. The hydraulic station has spare pump and motor, which is convenient to switch and can ensure the operation rate of the grate cooler.

（7）Travel control

Displacement transducer is adopted for the drive system to realize the precise control of the grate bed travel ,and can be monitored online at any time.

（8）Clinker roll crusher in the middle.

A clinker roller crusher is arranged between two sections of the grate bed. The bulk clinker conveyed from the motion module of the first section is crushed by the roll crusher (not less than 90% is below 25 mm) and unloaded to the fixed module of the second section , which is further cooled by the motion module of the second section and conveyed to the hopper. Secondary heat recovery reduces system energy consumption.
