How to deal with the common failure of cement mill?

Cement mill is a kind of building materials equipment, which has the characteristics of strong adaptability to materials, large crushing ratio, strong continuous production capacity, easy to adjust the fineness of grinding products, etc., and plays an irreplaceable role in the cement production process. In the working process, some failures are unavoidable. In order to ensure the normal continuous operation , it is necessary to analyze the causes of common faults and eliminate them. The followings are the three most common failures of cement mill.

（1）Abnormal grinding sound 

Reason: lining plate or compartment plate off, feeding volume is too large, or insufficient feeding.

Treatment: stop grinding immediately and process.

If the sound of the mill is dull, it is necessary to appropriately reduce the feeding amount;

If the sound of the mill is brittle, it is necessary to increase the feeding amount appropriately;

If the sound of the mill is droning, the feeding should be reduced or stopped, and the amount of ventilation in the mill should be increased as much as possible without affecting the fineness of the cement;If it is invalid, stop grinding to eliminate the blockage or agglomeration in the mill.

（2）Continuous full grinding

Treatment: the feed inlet and outlet in the mill is blocked, the grate joint of the silo plate is blocked, the steel ball section is coated with material, or the temperature in the mill is too high, the ventilation is insufficient, or the ball diameter ratio of the grinding body is not suitable, or the feeding amount is too much.

Treatment: According to the above four reasons, the following four measures can be taken respectively. Stop feeding, increase ventilation, and feed a small amount of dry pulverized coal cinder if necessary; On the premise of not affecting the fineness of cement, adjust the opening of the upper air valve of the pipeline to increase the ventilation volume in the mill; Adjust the ball diameter ratio of the grinding body and supplement the grinding body appropriately; Reduce the feeding amount appropriately.

（3）Temperature of the mill bearing is too high

Reason: insufficient oil or low oil pressure caused by oil pump failure;

Treatment: grinding maintenance; Add lubricating oil or clean up blockage in time; Check the leakage of the pipeline to ensure the supply pressure of cooling water; Adjust the amount of ventilation in the mill properly to reduce the temperature in the mill.
